The Southern Oregon Repertory Singers embrace the joyous Yuletide season with a festive holiday concert that includes harp, organ, and woodwind quartet. As a special treat the singers will be joined by the Siskiyou Violins, Faina Podolnaya, Artistic Director.
The concert will feature several versions of In dulci jubilo by Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Pearsall, and Jetse Bremer; A Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and a world premiere carol set to the words of Hildegard von Bingham by SORS own Jodi French.
Also included in the program are both traditional and newly-composed carols by Gabriel Jackson, John Rutter, Gabriel Fauré and Benjamin Britten, as well as sing-a-long carols with ensemble and the accompanying instruments.
Whether you choose to sing along with the chorus or just surround yourself with the music of the season, you will not want to miss the opportunity to make this musical feast a part of your holiday plans.
